The Argentine Film Festival in London
26th to 29th November

The Argentine Film Festival, London, was launched in 2012 in partnership with Picturehouse Cinemas to provide a unique showcase for the best contemporary cinema from and about Argentina.

During the last three years they have screened consistently sold out programmes including award-winning films from Cannes, Locarno, San Sebastian, Rome, Dubai and Tribeca film festivals as well as documentaries from Berlin, Venice and Toronto film festivals. In 2013 they launched the Nuevos Talentos (New Talents) section which has featured more than a dozen of the best short films from Argentina’s most talented young directors. In addition to the screenings, the Festival also includes a number of accompanying events including Q&A’s with visiting talent, live music, tango performances and a wine-tasting masterclass, as well as a dedicated pop-up wine bar serving a hand-picked selection of wines from the region.

The programme for this year includes following films:

ROAD TO LA PAZ
Motorcycle Diaries star Rodrigo de la Serna stars alongside Argentine veteran Ernesto Suárez in this heart-warming and hilarious road movie about two very different men at their respective crossroads in life.

THE FIRE
